Islam, unlike other religions is a strong advocate of marriage. There is no place for celibacy like, for example the Roman Catholic priests and nuns. The prophet (pbuh) has said "there is no celibacy in Islam.
Marriage is a religious duty and is consequently a moral safeguard as well as a social necessity. Islam does not equal celibacy with high "taqwa" / "Iman". The prophet has also said, "Marriage is my tradition who so ever keeps away there from is not from amongst me".
Marriage acts as an outlet for sexual needs and regulate it so one does not become a slave to his/ her desires.Islam urges us to control and regulate our desires, whatever they may be so that we remain dignified and not become like animals.
It is a social necessity because through marriage, families are established and the family is the fundamental unit of our society. Furthermore, marriage is the only legitimate or halal way to indulge in intimacy between a man and a woman.

ان الناظر فى الشريعة الإسلامية بمصدريها كتاب وسنةيجد انها تأمرنا وترغبنا فى الزواج قال تعالى وانكحوا الإيامى منكم والصالحين من عبادكم. وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم يا معشر الشباب من استطاع منكم الباءة فليتزوج فإنه اغض للبصر واحصن للفرج. ولكن عندما ننظر فى واقعنا المعاش نجد ان هناك بعض المعوقات التى تختلف باختلاف الزمان والمكان حسب اهميتها تقف حجر عسره امام الكثير من الشباب والفتيات فى الاقدام على الزواج مما ادى الى تأخر بعضهما عن الزواج أو الأحجام بالكلية عن الزواج ولعل من أهم هذه المعوقات خاصة فى المجتمعات التى بها أقليات مسلمة ككندا وغيرها من دول الغرب ان هناك فجوة كبيرة بين العائلات المسلمة حيث أنهم لا يعرفون بعضهم البعض وذلك لتباعد الديار وكثرة الاهتمامات والمسؤوليات مما دفع المهتمين بهذا الشأن ان يبحثوا عن حل لهذه المشكلة يساعد على التقريب والتواصل بين الجادين فى البحث عن الزواج ومن ثم جاء هذا المشروع الوليد على أيدى إخوة وأخوات مخلصين سائلين المولى سبحانه وتعالى ان يجازيكم خيرا وان يكتب لهذا المشروع النجاح والتوفيق

Marriage is a well recognized commandment of Islam. Allah (SwT) commands us to marry the single, righteous man/woman among us. (This website) is giving a chance to unmarried people to find the righteous spouse that will complete their Deen and guide them to the straight path of Allah.
Allah (SwT) says:
وَأَنْكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ ۚ إِنْ يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
"Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourselves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things" (Surah 24, Verse 32)
